Fostering creative confidence in my children is a priority. Creating art benefits physical and emotional development, while boosting their self esteem. But it's also really messy, I get it! And I'll admit I've held back on projects at home so not to make a mess on my floors. In addition, who has the time to hunt down materials and plan for a new craft every other day? That's why I decided to open Art Major! So everyone has a place to let loose, go for the glitter, and express themselves through art.
In addition to being a mom and craft connoisseur, I'm a book author. More about that here. I love beautiful La Quinta and look forward to meeting you!
ARTHUR MAJOR
Commander Arthur Major, U.S. Navy was my wonderful grandfather. Ever since I can remember, he was crafting and creating. In his shop he'd build model airplanes to spec, design doll houses from scratch, and repair anything that could be tinkered, glued, or painted.
Art loved the arts. He was extremely giving with his time, talents, and heart. His kindness, generosity, courage, and love for creating lives on through his namesake studio.
