More majors. more magic.

Started by family. Made for family. Growing with yours.
Art Major started with family, for family — built by small-business owners who believe creativity brings people together and every community deserves a place to make a little mess. We're not a big corporation, and we're not trying to become one. We're a family by blood and by choice, building something meaningful, one creative community at a time.

Now, we'd love to grow that family.

Art Major Studio is the perfect place for anyone passionate about entrepreneurship, creativity, and community! Drop us a line and let us know if you’re interested in hearing more about our growth and opportunities!

What They're Saying

Such a wonderful place!!!! My 6 & 8 year olds loved the classes here. The space is organized and decorated in such a wonderfully colorful and creative way you feel energized and inspired just walking in! The owner Allie definitely had a vision to create something wonderful and succeeded!

Our new favorite spot in the Valley for kids! My daughter did the winter camp at Art Major and when I picked her up she was all smiles - "the best day ever!" Safe to say we signed her up for another week as all she would talk about was art camp. We will be planning her birthday party here too and can't wait. The owner Allie and all the staff are so welcoming, energetic, and just have a sparkle in their eyes for the children. Quality crafts and keepsakes that we will cherish for years to come. Crafts are seasonal and also educational. My heart was so full when my daughter told me she made Christmas cards for the Senior Center as well as a compliment box to spread good cheer. I can't recommend Art Major enough!

We are so excited to have Art Major Studios in La Quinta. My three kids LOVE this new studio and enjoy a space where they can be creative. We love the convenience of the open crafting sessions, winter camp was a big hit, and my youngest daughter had her birthday party there in December, which was "the best party she has ever had." Allie, the owner, is fabulous and friendly. She goes above and beyond to create a nurturing environment where everyone feels welcome and special. I highly recommend this place!

Art Major was the perfect venue for my son's 3rd birthday party. They helped us set up, helped coordinate and facilitate all of the activities throughout the party, then helped break it down as well. Such a fun day! We will definitely use them again!

About Arthur “Art” Major

Commander Arthur Major, U.S. Navy, was our founder Allie Baker’s (and her cousin McKenna’s) beloved grandfather and the inspiration behind our name. Born in South Bend, Indiana, on April 18, 1920, Arthur graduated from the United States Naval Academy with the Class of 1944 and proudly served his country, eventually retiring as a Navy Commander. Beyond his military career, Art was a maker at heart. He built model airplanes, designed dollhouses from scratch, and repaired just about anything that could be tinkered with, glued, or painted. He loved creating and was endlessly generous with his time, talents, and heart. Today, his legacy lives on through Art Major Studios. We honor his kindness, courage, generosity, and creative spirit by making art accessible to all ages and abilities, inspiring everyone to explore, express themselves, and discover the joy of creating. His name inspires our studio, and his spirit inspires our mission.

About Art Major Studios

Art Major Studios was born from founder Allie Baker’s passion for creating a space where creativity, inspiration, and empowerment could flourish for both her children and herself. She envisioned a place where self-expression isn’t just encouraged, it’s essential, because creativity has the power to bring joy, build confidence, and make life a little more colorful. As that vision grew, Allie brought her little cousin, McKenna, into the picture to help grow the business and spread the Art Major magic to even more communities. What started as a family-driven dream continues to evolve, with a shared mission to inspire happiness, celebrate creativity, and make art accessible to all ages and abilities. And the best part? We’re just getting started. Our growth mission keeps on moving, and we can’t wait to see where this colorful adventure takes us next!
