The summer when I was twelve my parents were tight on funds. All my friends were going to camp together and I was so sad to be missing out. One night, we met my grandparents for dinner and my grandfather could see I was struggling. He slid a check across the table and said, “Here - go have fun with your friends.” I’ll never forget that moment or that summer. It was the best! In honor of my awesome and generous Grandpa Art on his birthday, the Art Major Fund will continue to send even more kids to camp to have fun with their friends!
